Looking for the next mind adventure? Then develop your ability to do astral projection
for the thrill and growth of it.
Most people do not remember their astral projection. However, just because you do not
remember it doesn't mean it did not happen. Every night when we sleep a portion of our
unconscious state is an out of body experience. The ability to astral project to different
dimensions holds within it much richness and growth for the individual, therefore,
developing this skill can help you tremendously in your life.
In order to bring on astral projection at will, you will need to set your intention,
meditate regularly and focus on it with much discipline. This is what more traditional
spiritual practitioners such as a Yogi have had to do in order to experience it. It is
possible, however, to buy a meditation download today that induces the brain wave state
needed for an out of body experience.
I have had the experience of astral projection without asking to do it. I was living in my
mother's house, the same house she passed away in four months earlier. One Sunday morning
as I lay in that really pleasant half sleeping state my consciousness lifted out of my
body and floated into the hallway outside my bedroom.
I looked down the hallway and saw a figure walking towards me. It was my mother, totally
unaware of me, busy at her tasks for the day.
As soon as I saw her there I panicked and flopped immediately back into my body.
Many people have much more clear, controlled astral projections than I. One of them was my
ex husband. He recalls feeling like he was floating suddenly above his body in his
bedroom, drifting towards the ceiling.
Soon his astral body had left the building hoovering in the sky of the dark night. An
energy pulled him forward to an empty road where a car was staggering back and forth along
it. As he watched the car swerved off the road killing the driver by decapitation. The
next day, he learned his colleague at work had been killed in an auto accident on that
road in exactly that way.
In order to deliberately develop astral projection for beginners, you need to begin to
gain an awareness of it. Read books on the subject. One of the leaders in the field is
Robert Monroe, the founder of a research institute and the author of several books in this
field.
Building an intention to have conscious out of body experiences is the next step to make
this a reality. You literally ask your subconscious mind to produce this experience by
keeping a journal about it. As you begin to pay attention to the entire process, a
communication opens between your mind and your reality, producing results.
When you train through learning, taking notes and meditation, you will begin to have lucid
astral projections during the times you asked to have them, and those times when it just
happened during sleep.
