Douglas Fir Kundalini Meditation

So, the serpent’s tongues sticking out of our fir cones fascinate you? You know, both you and Karin had good points with your different interpretations of what these parts of our anatomy symbolize. You intuitively made the connection with the serpent’s tongue and kundalini energy, and Karin felt it reminded her of a tongue of fire, a licking flame. Well, the kundalini energy is a fiery, purifying energy. In humans, it rises up from the base of the spine, the red/orange chakras, as a hot, burning, purifying energy. In mythology, the fire dragon - a serpent, often symbolizes the kundalini energy.

So yes, you were both very much on the right track, even though your different personalities made your associations go in slightly different directions. We fir-trees do possess a strong kundalini force. That is what makes us such powerful purifiers and harmonizers of energy.

I also know you are fascinated by the regular pattern of round little holes in our bark. As Karin pointed out, we are very well balanced trees. This balance goes beyond just a balance of the four elements air, water, fire and earth. We are also very well balanced in our external and internal focus. We have hundreds or thousands of these little round holes spread out evenly all over our skin, and they symbolize our great internal focus.

These holes are also channels through which we absorb old, used etheric energies into us. We then process that etheric energy internally, upgrading it to a higher, more pure state of etheric energy, and in the process of doing so actually also derive our own nourishment out of it in the process.

Why did you think it feels so good for you to sit or lie with your back or feet against a fir trunk? It’s because we absorb your low, spent, tired etheric energy and replenish it with new, fresh, balancing and harmonizing etheric energy. Actually, we mostly send the higher etheric energy out through our swooping branches, not through our trunks. But if you lie under us, enough of it will wash over you.
